Apparatus specific skills development (pommel horse, and high bar skills)

Guided training by leading coach and GO Coaching for Coaches Congress clinician Miguel Constance.

Elite MAG Training Camp
Canadian Adventure Camp (CAC)

Format:

Athletes and Coaches – Five-day full-day Camp

Training Camp Objectives are:

 

Foster the MAG Community atmosphere.

Provide all participants with guided training by leading coach David Arnold and Miguel Constance.

Provide athletes with the Canadian Adventure Camp experience with guided activities by camp counsellors in between training sessions. 

Exchange knowledge, coaching and training experiences (between and among athletes and coaches).

- Qualified Athletes: July 11, 2025 - late fee applies afterwards

- Alternates: July 16, 2025 - late fee applies afterwards

 

Athletes - Must had qualified for a spot at the 2025 Ontario Cup (see roster list here).

Refund Policy: Partial refund only for a valid medical reason.

 

Documents: 

Fees include the training camp, accommodation, and meals at Canadian Adventure Camp. Additionally, for participants departing from Toronto, it includes bus transportation from Toronto to Temagami and return. Delegates departing from other locations must make their own travel arrangements to Temagami.

Fees: 

Fees include the training camp, accommodation, and meals at Canadian Adventure Camp. Share Cost Fee Structure:

There are three (3) levels of subsides provide to athletes and coaches for this camp as follows:

- Scholarship: $0 (FREE)

- Ontario's High-Performance Athletes: $740.00 + $96.20 HST = $836.20

 - All other athletes: $820.00 + $106.60 HST = $926.60

On time registrations include substantial subsides from CAC and GO, as follows:

Scholarship is awarded to the top three ranked high-performance athletes and all invited coaches who are full funded.

High-Performance subsides is awarded to athletes who achieved the Ontario's high-performance status for the 2025-2026 (see list here).

- All other athletes receive smaller subsides from CAC and GO.

 

Late Fees: After July 16, 2025:

Flat fee applies to all athletes: $900 + $117 HST = $1017.00

Grassroots Training Camp
Kitchener-Waterloo Gymnastics Club 

Saturday and Sunday, September 6 and 7, 2025

Format:

Athletes and Coaches – 1 and 1/2-day Camp
 (Saturday from 11 AM to 5 PM AND Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM)

Coaches – 2-day full-day Camp
 (Saturday AND Sunday from 9 AM to 5 PM)

Administrators – 2-hour Session for Club Administrators and Coaches (Saturday 9 AM to 11 AM)

Leading Coach: 

Guided training by leading coach Markos Baikas from Taiso Gymnastics (Saskatchewan).

Since 1999, has worked with national junior and senior teams from 2004-2017 under coaches like Edouard Iarov, Masaki Naosaki, and Tony Smith. He’s guided athletes to success in world championships, Commonwealth Games, Pan-American Games, and international competitions. Makos is passionate about youth development and mentorship, organizing global training camps and collaborating with renowned coaches to enhance his knowledge and positively impact gymnastics.

 

Training Camp Objectives are:

This training camp provides P1 and P2 athletes and coaches with an early start in competitive development. The focus is on skills, techniques, and pathways to foster long-term athlete development and retention.


This camp also offers a session exclusively focused on the administration and planning aspects to support a MAG program and its growth in a club. This session will be on Saturday morning from 9 to 11 AM. Club administrators and coaches are welcome.
