Online course delivery is a means of providing a virtual in-class experience to coaches who are unable to travel to an in-class course. Online courses are led by an NCCP trained Learning Facilitator and are offered through Gymnastics Ontario's online platform.
Not all NCCP courses have been designed or modified for online delivery. The quality assurance of NCCP delivery is important and all technical courses will remain as in-gym delivery. Gymnastics Ontario will ensure that we continue to provide the same quality of service to all coaches across the province.
Coaches will be expected to log on and participate for the full duration of the course at the specific times listed in order to receive full course credit.
Coaches must have a valid GO Membership (coach) in the same season the course takes place.
Coaches will be required to complete the NCCP Emergency Action Plan eLearning module in the Locker prior to the online webinar.
Coaches will be required to complete both Foundations Introduction and at least one Foundations Sports Specific course in order to be fully Foundations Trained.
Registrants must connect to the training platform 15 minutes prior to the start of the course (each day).
- Computer or Laptop is required (no tablets or phones)
- Microphone/speakers or a headset with speakers
- Access to the internet (preferably high speed).
