AERO Beginner Judges' Course

The goal of the Aerobics Beginner Judges Course is to provide a basic introduction to the skills and knowledge required to judge Execution & Artistry of Aerobic Gymnastics & Aerobic Dance focusing primarily on Provincial FIG World Age Group & Aerodance event categories. For Aerobic Provincial Judges, the Clinic will provide information and judging review/application of the new 2025 -28 FIG Aerobics Code of Points & FIG World Age Group
Requirements focusing on Execution & Artistry. 

All participants of the Beginner Judges Course are required to write a compulsory Theory Test (50 multiple choice questions) at the end of the Sunday Course/Clinic. All successful Beginner Judge candidates who achieve a Pass standard on both the Written Test (questions based on Pre Course Required Reading & PPT - Lecture 1 General Information, PPT - Lecture 2 Judging Difficulty) as well as achieving a Pass standard on a uploaded Practical Video Test of 8 Routines (4 Execution / 4 Artistry - Submission of Scores to Lynne Smiley deadline Wednesday, February 5, 2025) will become a Provincial Level 1
Aerobics Judge.
