New Feature:

Delete Participant Profile

September 20, 2021

A new tool is available to help club administrators with participant profile management: delete participant profile. If you created a profile in error, you now have the option to delete it. NOTE: profiles cannot be deleted if there are any registrations, achievements, or transactions linked to them. More information is available on this help page: How to remove a participant profile (for CLUB MEMBERS). 
 
Reminder! If you notice a possible duplicate profile but cannot delete it, please contact membership@gymnasticsontario.ca.

Federation Submissions

Uplifter Inc has a new feature for club's using their club management software: Federation Submissions. This new feature allows member clubs to register their participants with Gymnastics Ontario with just a few clicks. New Feature:

Credit Cards on Account

May 27, 2021

Uplifter Inc has updated the payment feature to allow administrators to save payment methods to the club's account. Payment methods can be saved during checkout or from the club account page. Please visit Uplifter's help page for instructions on how to add, update, and remove a payment method: Credit cards on account.
 
Currently, the only payment methods that can be saved are credit cards (Visa and MasterCard). 
 
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
 
Does Uplifter save user card data?
No. Like they have done in the past, they let our organization's payment gateway (Bambora) handle the card details and Uplifter's systems never see/touch the information. Uplifter Inc and Bambora are both PCI compliant. More information is available on their websites: Uplifter Inc Changes to PCI Compliance and Bambora Certifications & Compliance.
 
Can other administrators in my club's account access each other's cards?
Yes and no. Since we have enabled the "Shared Account" setting you will have the option of selecting to share saved payment methods. This is done through My Account > Account > Saved Payment Methods where you can select the Share option next to any saved payment methods.

Login Page New Look

January 11, 2019

Our registration management software, Uplifter Inc., will be launching a new feature related to account types. To accommodate the new feature, the login page will look different than usual; refer to the screenshot below. The change is expected to occur on Monday, January 14, 2019.

 

When you navigate to the login page you will see a login to the left (Have an Account?) for EXISTING ACCOUNTS and a login creation on the right (First Time Registering?) for NEW ACCOUNTS. Since member clubs already have an existing account you can use the login to the left. Please do not create a new login. If you do, you will not have access to your club’s existing account and your access to the database will be restricted.

When you login to your existing account, you will still have the same accessibility as usual. Please note that there have been a few small changes to the terminology you may see on the site. For example, “individuals” has been updated to “participants”.

More information about account types will be available when the feature is finalized.

New Feature:
Interac Online

September 10, 2018

Gymnastics Ontario can now accept Interac Online as a form of payment for membership registrations. For the full instructions, please review the help page, How to pay invoices during checkout.
 
An important note: This payment option will only be available for those that have Interac Online setup with their bank institution. If your debit card shows another payment brand's logo (ex. Visa Debit), you will not be able to use Interac Online for your online purchases. Before proceeding, it is strongly suggested to read the Interac - For Consumers page. 
 

Enhanced Feature:
Search for Participants Registered by Your Club

Once registered, an individual profile cannot be deleted. This means as we go through the seasons, the number of individuals in your club's account will increase. At some point, your account may include individuals that are not active at your club in the current season.
 
The membership program now has a new filter to Only Show Individuals Registered by this Club when searching. To use the search feature, navigate to: My Account >> Individuals >> Filter Individuals By.

New Feature:
Installments & Late Fees

May 16, 2018

Installments

Starting for the 2018-2019 season, clubs can select to pay for the Recreational Club Fee and Birthday Party Insurance with an installment. During the final steps of the checkout, administrators can select the payment option from the invoice summary. There will be the choice to Pay in Full or Pay by Installments

Late Fees

The 1.5% Late Fee for unpaid invoices (refer to the Registration Handbook) will now appear as a potentially recurring fee. You will see the Late Fee (1.5%) under the Subscriptions heading on your next registration checkout, starting May 16, 2018. On the last day of each month, the club's account will only be charged for 1.5% of the balance owing if it is more than 30 days outstanding. If the club does not have an outstanding balance, then no late fee will be charged.

Detailed Invoice Report

May 11, 2018

There has been an update to the Invoices – Detailed report. As you know, when a discount has been applied to an invoice, it is summarized in one line. Using the Invoices – Detailed report and applying the “Include Invoice Item Adjustment Details” filter, clubs will now be able to view the details of the discount. This includes the name of the individual, the discount amount and the membership being discounted.

For your reference, a club will receive a discount when the same individual has been registered for multiple memberships. The club will be charged the full amount of the higher membership and credited (discounted) the full cost of the lower membership.
