Competition 1 (Introduction) Artistic

This course covers the Sports Specific Technical training for Women's and/or Men's Artistic Gymnastics. The course is only open to coaches that are fully Level 1 certified or Foundations Artistic Trained. Coaches must attend the full course and meet prerequisite requirements to receive course credit.

Coaches must attend both the Competition 1 Technical course, as well as the Competition Introduction Theory in order to be fully Competition 1 (Introduction) Trained.

Please note that this course registration closes 5 business days prior to the first scheduled day of training to ensure that all coaches have adequate time to download and review Learning Management System (LMS) material. 

Notification of withdrawal or transfer from the course must be received no later than 5 business days prior to the start of the course. Failure to send notification less than 5 business days prior to the course will result in forfeit of the full course registration fee. Coaches must attend the full course to receive course credit. If part or all of a module is missed, the coach will be required to re-register for the full course with no option for a refund. 

Coaches must be a minimum 16 years of age to register for this course. 

Coaches must have a valid GO Membership (coach) in the same season the course takes place. 

A valid [unique] personal email must be recorded during the registration process in order to receive future email communications from Gymnastics Ontario and access to the Learning Management System (LMS).
