Ontario Cups
There are three Ontario Cups in the 2025-26 season:

Athlete Eligibility & Registration Process
To be eligible to compete in the 2025-26 MAG Ontario Cups, the club needs to fulfill all the following requirements on behalf of its athlete(s):
- The athlete(s) must be a member of Gymnastics Ontario in the correct athlete category,
- Register the athletes for the Ontario Cups via Uplifter,
- Inform the athlete(s) coach(es) names, and
- Pay, in a timely manner, the registration fee to all 2025-26 MAG Ontario Cup host clubs:
- Your club must pay the same amount to all host clubs (regardless of scratches after registering the athlete(s) here).
- For refunds, please see the refund policy below on this page.
Once all three host club(s) confirm to Gymnastics Ontario that the payment was received in full, the registration process is completed. Athletes may not compete until all payments have been fulfilled by their clubs.
Coach Eligibility & Registration Process
To be eligible to coach an athlete in the 2025-26 MAG Ontario Cups, the club needs to fulfill all the following requirements on behalf of its coach(es):
- The coach(es) must be a member of Gymnastics Ontario in the correct coach category,
- The coach(es) must have the GO Digital Coach ID,
- Register the coach for the Ontario Cups via Uplifter, and
- Confirm that the coach has the certification requirements to be eligible for the competition floor. Please refer to the directives (above) for all minimum requirements.
Registration Fees
Registration for the Ontario Cups is via GO Uplifter (below).
Registration for the Ontario Cups is a flat fee (i.e., Athletes must pay for the three Cups' host).
Payments must be sent to each host club according to each one's directives, ASAP. Athlete(s) will not be added to the club roster until the full payment is received by all three host clubs.
After 5 PM on October 15, 2025, an additional late registration fee of $25 per athlete per cup applies to all athlete registrations. The athlete registration fees for the 2023-24 Ontario Cups are as follows:

- On time (all categories): $390 ($130 per athlete per cup)
- Late fee after November 6, 2024 (all categories): $465 ($130 + $ 25 late registration per athlete per cup)
- On time (all categories): $390 ($130 per athlete per cup)
Also, payments received by the host clubs (all three host clubs) after October, 15, 2025, are subjected to a late payment fee.
Coach(es)' registration(s) is/are free.
Coaches' Registrations are required as a separate step (below) and the club must provide the following:
- Coaches NCCP Number
- Coaches contact information
- Coaches certification status
Deadlines:
Clubs may register new athletes from October 20, 2025, until February 6, 2026. However, clubs must observe the following cut-off dates:
- October 15, 2025, @ 5 PM - Deadline to register without the late fee penalty.
- November 7, 2025 - Deadline to participate in all ON Cups.
- December 19, 2025 - Deadline to participate in the 2nd & 3rd Cups.
- February 6, 2026 - Deadline to participate in the 3rd Cup - Note that athletes must have an all-around score higher than zero in two ON Cups to qualify for the Ontario Championships.
Athlete(s)' Name, Date of Birth & Club Affiliation
<< IMPORTANT >> - Club(s) must verify, and if necessary correct, the following information of its athlete(s) in Uplifter:
- Athlete(s)' name spelling,
- Athlete(s)' date of birth, and
- Athlete(s)'s club affiliation.
Uplifter will use the athlete's date of birth in its database to determine his age category for his level. Athlete birth date must match the one in their government issue ID.
Uplifter will generate a roster list with the athlete(s)' name and club from its database. Gymnastics Ontario will then upload this roaster list into KSIS.
Refunds:
- Provincial & Aspire level gymnasts - If an athlete who is registered in the Provincial Qualifying system (Ontario Cups) does not participate in all three (3) Cups during the entire competitive season, the club must submit the “MAG | Athlete Refund Form - Ontario Cup” (available at GO Website). All refund claims must be submitted for approval within two (2) weeks after the last 2025-26 Ontario Cup. Valid refund claims will be processed in May 2026, and if approved a refund will be sent to the athlete’s club.
- National-level gymnasts – There are no refunds or transferable moneys for athletes who have missed the competition due to illness, injury or inclement weather conditions.
There are no refunds if the province announces a shutdown.
Athletes Squad Sizes:
- Clubs with a large number of athletes in the same session should send two coaches or make arrangements with another club, as not all its athletes may be able to rotate together.
- The maximum number of athletes per squad is determined by the number of athletes competing in the same session.
- Ontario High-perfromance athletes rotate together, regadless of their club affiliation.
- Team Ontario Tour delegates also rotate together once teams are finalized.
No exceptions!
Coach Responsibilities:
- Athletes without their club coach in the field of play in a coach capacity will not be allowed to compete in the Ontario Cup.
