Trampoline - Air Sense
Air Sense - Air 1 Trampoline
The Air 1 NCCP training is designed for Trampoline Gymnastics coaches who wish to expand their coaching credentials into Freestyle Ski. Adapted from the Freestyle Canada NCCP Air 1 curriculum, this module introduces the fundamental acrobatic principles required to safely coach foundational trampoline skills for freestyle skiing athletes. Coaches will learn basic trampoline skill mechanics, how to develop flip and spin rotation, safe landing techniques, and effective progressions that build acrobatic literacy and air awareness. These foundational skills provide the building blocks for more advanced Air 2 skills while supporting safe athlete development.
Prerequisite: Foundations Trampoline (or higher)
Air Sense - Air 2 Trampoline
Air 2 builds on the Air Sense 1 curriculum and is intended for coaches working with freestyle skiing athletes performing more advanced aerial maneuvers. Adapted from the Freestyle Canada NCCP Air 2 pathway, this module focuses on refining acrobatic mechanics, advanced skill progressions, air awareness, body control, and safe coaching practices for complex rotations and inversions. Coaches will further develop their understanding of progressive skill development, risk management, and technical coaching strategies to safely prepare athletes for higher-level freestyle skiing skills.
Prerequisite: Air Sense 1 (or equivalent Freestyle Canada Air qualification)
