Ontario Championships

 


 

Athlete Eligibility and Registration Process


Athletes eligible to compete in the 2025 MAG Ontario Championships, must:

  • Be a member of Gymnastics Ontario in the correct athlete category,
  • Have had qualified for the 2025 Ontario Championships during the 2024-25 season
  • Register for the Ontario Championships via Uplifter, and
  • Pay, in a timely manner, the registration fee to Rose City Gymnastics (host club).

 

Once the host club confirm to Gymnastics Ontario that the payment was received in full, the registration process is completed. Athletes may not compete until all payments have been fulfilled by their clubs.

 

Athletes eligible to compete in the 2025 All-Star Team Final, must:

  • Must be eligible to compete at the Ontario Chmapionships (see above) and:
  • Have had qualified for the 2025 All-Star Team Final at the 3rd ON Cup
  • Register for the All-Star Team Final via Uplifter, and
  • Pay, in a timely manner, the registration fee to Rose City Gymnastics (host club)

 

Once the host club confirm to Gymnastics Ontario that the payment was received in full, the registration process is completed. Athletes may not compete until all payments have been fulfilled by their clubs.

 

Coach Eligibility & Registration Process

 

To be eligible to coach an athlete in the 2025 Ontario Championships, the club needs to fulfill all the following requirements on behalf of its coach(es):

  • The coach(es) must be a member of Gymnastics Ontario in the correct coach category,
  • The coach(es) must have the GO Digital Coach ID updated toinclude the Safe Sport Module Training,
  • Register the coach for the Ontario Championships via Uplifter, and
  • Confirm that the coach has the certification requirements to be eligible for the competition floor. Please refer to the directives (above) for all minimum requirements.

 

Registration Fees

 

Registration for the 2025 MAG Ontario Championships and 2025 All-Star Team Finals are via GO Uplifter (below).

Registration for the 2025 MAG Ontario Championships and 2025 All-Star Team Final are two different and separate fees.

Payments must be sent to Rose City Gymnastics according to payment instructions described in the directives, ASAP. Athlete(s) will not be added to the club roster until the full payment is received by the host club.

After 5 PM on March 28, 2025, registrations are closed .

The athlete registration fees for the 2025 MAG Ontario Championships is as follows: 

  • ON Championships - Athletes (all categories):                        $150
  • All-Star Team Final - Athletes (all categories):                          $50
  • Coaches:                                                                                     Free

 

Coaches' Registrations are required as a separate step (below) and the club must provide the following:

  • Coaches NCCP Number
  • Coaches contact information
  • Coaches certification status
  • Each coach must fill out the MAG | MC form (details above)
  

Athlete(s)' Name, Date of Birth & Club Affiliation

 

<< IMPORTANT >> - Club(s) must verify, and if necessary correct, the following information of its athlete(s) in Uplifter:

  • Athlete(s)' name spelling,
  • Athlete(s)' date of birth, and
  • Athlete(s)'s club affiliation.

 

Uplifter will use the athlete's date of birth in its database to determine his age category for his level. Athlete birth date must match the one in their government issue ID. 


Uplifter will generate a roster list with the athlete(s)' name and club from its database. Gymnastics Ontario will then upload this roaster list into KSIS. 

 

Refunds:

 

  • There are no refunds or transferable moneys for athletes who have missed the competition due to illness, injury,  inclement weather conditions, or if the province announces a shutdown.

 

Athletes Squad Sizes:

 

  • Clubs with a large number of athletes in the same session should send two coaches or make arrangements with another club, as not all its athletes may be able to rotate together.
  • The maximum number of athletes per squad is determined by the number of athletes competing in the same session.
    No exceptions!
