Gymnastics Foundations Artistic
Gymnastics Foundations Artistic is one of the disciplines offered in Foundations Sports Specific Training. Coaches are required to complete prerequisite courses before they are eligible to attend the Foundations Artistic course.
Foundations Introduction and Foundations Theory must be completed before a coach may attend any Foundations Sports Specific course. If available, all three course components may be taken back to back, with no minimum wait time between courses.
Coaches must meet all prerequisite requirements. Coaches without the course prerequisites will not receive credit for course completion, and will be required to retake the course at their own expense.
Foundations course registration will close 5 business days prior to the start of the course, at which time participants will receive an information email to prepare for the course. Notification of withdrawal or transfer from the course must be received no later than 5 business days prior to the start of the course.
Failure to send notification more than 5 business days prior to the course will result in forfeit of the full course registration fee.
Late registrations/walk-in registrations will not be accepted.
All coaches must be a registered Member of Gymnastics Ontario.
Coaches must be a minimum 15 years of age to register for any Foundations course.
Coaches must have a valid GO Membership (coach) in the same season the course takes place.
A valid [unique] personal email should be recorded during the registration process in order to receive all future email communications from Gymnastics Ontario and gain access to the Learning Management System (LMS), should this apply.
Coaches must attend the full course to receive course credit!
